Personal Favourite Island: Koh Phangan

If I may shamelessly add my favourite, the tiny, yet unique, paradise-like island that boasts a very special energy is the one and only Koh Phangan. Different areas of this majestic island are dedicated to different preferences  of its residents: 

  • north – stunning beaches
  • west – spiritual-yoga-healthy-living life
  • south-west – families
  • south – Full Moon Parties
  • the centre – the wonders of jungle

This little gem is definitely worth visiting, in my humble opinion.

So far, of all the places I’ve visited in Thailand, I have a couple of favorites, although it’s honestly HARD for me to pick just a couple! I have SO many favorite places in this beautiful kingdom, and I know that I haven’t even visited them all yet!

But well… if I had to choose, let the choice fall on the following:

  1. Favorite temple:
    White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) in Chiang Rai
  2. Favorite activity:
    visiting elephants
  3. Favorite island:
    Koh Phangan
